  1. I see. Thanks a bunch for the advice and encouragement!
  2. Hi everybody! I was just wandering how accurate everyone thought quizlet was for practicing for the HESI Entrance Exam? For example, I have been doing the vocabulary flash cards and have been doing very well, but is this really what the test is like? I bought the HESI Admission exam study guide, but I am waiting for it to get here and would like a way to study for it while I wait!
  3. Hi everybody. I am just a little confused right now on what to do for applying to nursing school. I am 18 and thought I had it all figured out at first. I knew which colleges I was going to apply to and which pre-reqs/gen ed classes I was going to take. However, here recently I found out that I am going to be moving. So, now I no longer know what to do. I am moving to much more populated area a little outside Kansas city. I'v looked into the schools there, but from what I'v read they are very competitive. I am no longer sure if I should try and go for a BSN or an ADN? I would like to apply to most the schools in the area, but most of the schools require different pre-reqs from each other and from what I have now. I have English Composition 1, A & P, General Pyschology, Intermediate Algebra, General Psychology, Intro to Nutrition, Intro to Sociology, and I have also completed the Nurse Aide Class. I have a 3.85 GPA. After that long wall of text, I'll will get to the questions that I want to ask. I just wanted you guys to have a little background info. My first question is; are BSN programs easier to get into? I'v read a lot on the forums that the Community Colleges are generally highly competitive to get into because they are cheaper. I would also like to know if I got the last one or two different pre-reqs and maintained the same GPA or higher how competitive will I be at these bigger schools? My last question is; how do you guys and girls stay motivated? I feel so lost at the moment, I feel like I have wasted time because some classes aren't worth anything at other schools. I'm not sure if I'll get accepted into these other schools. I have wanted to be a Nurse for a very long time now, and don't want to give up on my goal of becoming one. The advice of all you guys would really help a lot. Thanks in advance.
