Hi, I also got a rejection letter from Linfield, however, I did get alt.listed from OHSU, GO FIGURE!!!! It is a bit frustrating and with the time spent on the application, the 'subjectiveness' of the selection, the lack of knowing what exactly makes one competitive, and the 'no further information' that I felt they failed to provide.... Need I go on. I have never received a rejection letter before, so I am not sure what exactly they are like, but Linfield's seemed a bit snobby. I have a BS already w/a 3.56 cum. GPA, and have worked in the veterinary medicine field as a Registered Technician for 10 yrs., the list goes on...So, from the rejected standpoint must I leave w/this quote: Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
