  1. Thanks everyone for the advice and motivation my mind is made up and I'm getting ready for my new journey. Good luck to everyone on your path you choose to take.
  2. I have been in school going on 4 yrs started out wanting to get my BSN but intentionally I've haven't been accepted to a program the RN program is very competitive I understand so I feel as if I have wasted 2 years already so I choose to go the lpn route. I got accepted in the program and start this Summer. I am so excited, but tired of people saying why lpn why not RN? Its kind of getting frustrated but everybody path is different. I still plan to be a RN one day. I am just trying to get away from minimum wage and get experience in my field. My question is why are lpns downgraded is it just about pay we are all here to help our patients.
  3. Are you an lpn, if so question I have been accepted to start an lpn program this summer, but people keep suggesting I go for Rn. I have been trying for Rn but haven't been accepted yet. Do you think I should continue to wait or go ahead and take the lpn route first?
  4. I've just recently been accepted to the lpn program. Can you give me any tips on the program I start this summer 2014? How are the professors? How often is class and clinicals? What are the pros and cons? Advice please!
  5. Thank you so much for the inspiration

  12. In need of any advice that will be helpful. I have completed all of my core classes but my GPA isn't high enough for nursing programs. Some require Chemistry and I have Biologys. My GPA can get higher if I took Chemistry it will just put me a whole yr behind. I don't want to change my major taking the easy way out besides nursing is where my heart really is. Am I thinking to hard about finishing and should just be patient. HELP...
