GNTC RN Program?
Hello fellow Georgians, I haven't been able to find anything on the GNTC program. They have an average NCLEX score of 95.3% as well as nationally and state accredited. Is it possible that the only campus that offers the program is way up in Walker Co. and no one wants to drive there? (Except me as I will be living in Cartersville while in school.) I'd love to hear some thoughts from anyone! ST

Hillsborough Community College - Spring 2014
Hi! Thanks for your feedback. I need all I can get. I don't have too many options because of the deadline for SPC. If I want, I can swap it out for Micro which I am registered for this semester. Which would make my schedule look more like AP1, MAT28, STAT and then next semester would be Algebra, AP2, Micro and either Ethics in Health Care or Speech. I've been struggling with what to take when... I'm just really trying to avoid wasting anymore time.

Hey! @icaspe Sorry for my very late reply. I've decided in the passed time that I really don't want the RT program and I'm putting all my focus into RN programs at both HCC and SPC. I am kind of beginning my prereqs. I've taken English Comp, Psych, and am currently enrolled in Sociology and MAT28. Next semester I have registered for MAT33, AP1, and Micro. I'm deathly afraid of the upcoming prereqs beginning in spring because SPC requires Statistics but I know it's only preparation for nursing school. How about you? This forum is so great with all the information I've found. Thanks, y'all!

Congratulations to all of you for your hard work and dedication so far!! I've really enjoyed reading your posts. I am in my second semester of prereqs with A's so far. I am taking prereqs for both SPC and HCC and applying to Radiation Therapy school as a backup plan but I really want to get into RN school. The way my courses and the deadlines fall, I won't be able to apply to HCC RN until Spring of 2015 but I can apply to SPC in Fall of 14. I'm terrified my GPA will slip and I'm also terrified of taking Algebra, AP2 and Statistics at once with one other course dependent on my path. Next spring semester I have my last Algebra remedial course, Micro and AP1 which officially starts my difficult coursework. However, I'm thoroughly looking forward to the challenge. Again, thanks for the info and guidance and good luck to everyone on theirs paths!

30+ club! Lets do this together.
Hello all, I am turning 32 in August, single, no kids, and just started my prereqs at HCC in Tampa. I am applying to the ADN and Radiation Therapy programs in 2015. If I am accepted to the ADN I plan to roll into my bachelors (which may be my only choice then by FL law as they plan to phase out the ADN programs) and most likely Masters programs. Also, any other prereq or current students with multiple visible tattoos? I'm not a very good student so I really need to focus on picking up new positive school habits. Suggestions are welcome! Good luck to all!!
