  1. Nevermind. I got the email
  2. Yeah, how do you know about clinicals and Lynsie can you post a link to the facebook page because I can't find it.
  3. I hope your x-rays go good and you don't end up having anything else to do. I thought we had to get a TB shot after the quantiferon test but I guess not:)
  4. I didn't get any results back from my test at all. Are we suppose to get a TB shot?
  5. How did you know exactly what books we would need? I would like to save money too if I can but I can't find the titles, authors, or ISBN number for any of the books to look them up. I tried going on the unlv bookstore website but none of the books would come up.
  6. Has anyone bought their white shoes? If you have do they have to be all white or can they have a tiny bit of color on them? I found some good white sneakers but they have like 2 dots of color. Idk how strict they are about the color of your shoes.
  7. Congrats EmmmGrace on getting in for the Spring 2014 program! I'm happy for you:)
  8. See you at orientation kzato12 and I'm excited to see everyone in class. My name is Ariel.
  9. Anyone going to the Monday November 18 orientation?
  10. As long as you got a B the first time you took one of your science classes, retaking it won't count against you. It will only help you.
  11. And thank you to everyone who congratulated me. This has been a struggle for me. Especially after getting rejected last semester so I understand the anxiety that everyone who is close to the suspected cutoff is having.
  12. Congratulations @kzato12, @katsmeow1977, and @bunsiebooboo. I hope to meet you all at orientation:)
  13. Thank you! I have about 92.21 points. I forgot to ask what the cutoff is
  14. I got my call at 10:41am today! I'm so happy:) This is my second time applying to the school of nursing. Congratualtions to everyone who got in and to anyone who doesn't get in stay strong and don't give up. I believe everyone here will be an amazing nurse because you have it in your heart to be.
  15. I asked the head director of the health and science advising center if they will ever increase their acceptance number for the nursing school since the scores people applying with are increasing so much and she said no. When I asked why, she said that they don't have enough teachers to teach more students and that they have to share space at the hospitals with other nursing schools for clinicals. Each school gets to have a certain amount of people for each hospital. So maybe if there were more hospitals they would accept more people.
