  1. OK well that’s good to know! Thanks for the reply. Ahhh OK thank you for letting me know! I’m not really sure what I’m missing that they want but I guess we ALL feel that way when/if we don’t get it ?
  2. I’ve never really seen this discussed but what school did everyone do their prerequisites at? I’ve applied multiple times to the UT pacesetter program with pretty OK/good stats. 3.4 GPA overall, 3.7 science GPA, 85 over all on the HESI and haven’t gotten in but I kinda feel like because I didn’t do my prerequisites at a university and at a local college instead (lonestar) that it has hurt my chances. im still waiting to hear back about Spring 2022 and don’t really have any hopes of getting in but I kinda feel like UT judges based on if you went to UT or another university for your prerequisites versus a community college.
  3. I'm pretty sure you can apply to both. I'm considering applying to fall also.
  4. Thanks for the reply!
  5. Just introducing myself! I have just started the application process and have to take my HESI and send a transcript in. About how long did it take to get an email from UT with a login? They have only emailed me saying they've received my application fee.
  6. When you were accepted into the nursing program were only the nursing prerequisites used in determining your GPA or all college courses ever taken?
  7. Jessatkinson86 that is not true at all. You can major in anything and go to medical school. You just have to have their required prerequisites.
  8. I decided to go into nursing and then medical school because I will have medical knowledge when entering and if I don't ever get in then at least I will have a career. Biology and Chemistry aren't known for their well paying jobs.
  9. I am entering into the nursing program in Fall 2014, but I plan on attending medical school after I get my BSN. The prerequisites for med school is not fully covered by nursing. I will need Chem 2, Organic Chem 1 and 2, and Physics 1 and 2. My question is is that I would like to take one of these classes each semester at a community college during my nursing program instead of another year and a half of school after I graduate. I was wondering how possible/impossible it would be to tack on another class? Thanks in advance for the replies!
