yeah state offers it but it doesn't work when results are held. it just has a pop up that says "results are held. cannot reregister at this time" which is no indication of pass OR fail.

It's been 72 hours now. So frustrated....

I used the NCLEX-4000 cd, which is ok for basic review but I wouldn't rely on it (found a lot of mistakes in rationales), Kaplan, Exam Cram, Mosby's/Saunders for content...Kaplan was by far the most helpful and that's all I used for the week leading up to the test so I could narrow in my focus. I think that was the most beneficial. Don't be afraid to spend money for a GOOD, RECOMMENDED review program- it may seem like a lot now (especially after the cost of nursing school), but you'll be thankful when you pass on your first try. I had zero questions pertaining to erikson or Piaget or any other stage of development. I wouldn't stress about something so minute- concentrate on bigger concepts- EKGs, dialysis, infection control, etc. this was my experience for nclex RN. But I also had minimum number of questions so maybe with more questions there are more topics.

Yeah I'm in the same boat and it's the weekend. Did you ever find out? How long did it take after your results were held?

I would highly consider using a better program. I was doing well on NCLEX-4000 then I started using Kaplan. When I went back to N4000 those questions were much easier. Kaplan prepares you more for NCLEX and even has the same background color as the real test which eases anxiety a bit. Nclex 4000 is nice for quick tests but you really need more than just that.

Hello- So I just took the NCLEX-RN yesterday and it stopped me at 75 questions and it took me about 1h10m; by far the hardest test I have ever taken in my life. At first when I checked PVT it said "candidate currently registed...etc.". About 4 hours later, it said my results were held. I have read about every single post on here, and I know the reasons for why results are held. My problem is, I took the exam on a Friday. The website is down for maintenance. I want to know if anybody personally (not a friend) has had their results "held", only to later find out that they failed. Waiting sucks, I know, and if I failed then I will deal with it and retake it- it's not the end of the world. I am just trying to calculate my odds. ANYWAY...if you could provide some feedback, I'd appreciate it!!
