Was the 3.9 her weighted or cumulative GPA? Either way, that's pretty good. If she also scored that high on the Kaplan, something else held her back from being accepted. I had a meeting with the director and one of the higher level advisers (since we can't say names on here), and they both said with my weighted GPA (which is also a 3.91), as long as I do well on the Kaplan, I shouldn't have anything to worry about. But there are so many other factors that might have held that other person back...the point system is kind of wacky so if she had to repeat classes, or had withdrawals, those all count against her...and of course the background checks and such. Who knows. I've learned (the hard way) not to pay too much attention to those around you or compare your grades/scores to anybody else with regard to whether they made the program or not. You'll make yourself crazy! Though I think we all have to be a little crazy to put ourselves through this! =) Are you applying right now, for winter 2014 start? That's the class I'm trying for also. Here's to good luck for both of us!
