I just got offered a job at a NYC HHC hospital. The interview went great and I got offered the job when I called back to check on my status!! I was told to come down to the hospital and fill out application and paperwork with HR. The recruiter told me it takes HR a long time to process you and check your background and references... Does anybody know how long I can expect to wait? The woman who interviewed me said shed be surprised if I started work by July. Im just antsy and was wondering if anybody else has gone through the process at a HHC NYC Hospital before???? Also, this may sound stupid, but should I wear a suit to go fill out paperwork or is that part of the hiring process over??? I mean im not going down there in sandals and shorts but......
