  4. Thank you so much! This was very encouraging. I certainly will try my hardest to attain A's in the rest of my classes for sure! And wow, does the east coast sound intense! We have it the same way here...I've only heard of people who have 3.7 and higher doing being able to enter around here.
  5. As of right now, I currently have a 3.3 GPA. I've completed most of my pre-reqs already in a rush to get into nursing school. I've only been in college for a year. I'm currently taking Chemistry on Summer I and A&P II in summer II. I will be retaking Stats this coming fall since my overload of classes spring semester caused me to fail it. However, all of my grades are either A's or B's, no C's (except the D in Stats). My mom is a registered nurse, she's been a DON for nearly 15 years in the US, but she got her license from our home country. Now she runs and owns her own Hospice with a business partner. She wants me to get everything done as soon as possible... All I have left is Stats, History, Nutrition, A&P II and Chemistry. What are my chances of getting into a nursing school in Texas with a 3.3 GPA and a 3.25-3.5 in my sciences? Should I retake some things to get a higher GPA?
