  1. It's so good to hear from someone in the program already. Is it as hard as everyone says it is? I'm so nervous. It seems as if I've only heard horror stories. I'd definitely love to stay in contact with you. I know it would be great to have someone to talk to that's already been through the first semester. How is the NUR 114 class set up? How many days do you go?
  2. Really? I took mine the second to last date that it could be taken. I live in Lexington so I'm rarely in Richmond but if you'd want to meet up on a weekend so I can give it to you then that would work. And yeah I'm sure! :)
  3. I sent in my application two weeks ago for the ADN program at EKU that starts in the Spring of 2014. I think my chances of getting in are pretty high. I had A's in all of my pre reqs and scored a 90% overall on the HESI A2. I'm just nervous about the cutoff for the points system they use for admittance. The waiting is the hardest part as well as finding out that EKU is one of the TOUGHEST Nursing Programs to get through. On the up side, I hear that graduates from EKU are sought after due to the programs intensity level. I also met a recent EKU grad who said he didn't even study for the boards to get his license and still passed because it was drilled so hard into his head in school. I just hope I get my letter soon. I'm a nervous wreck and I try not to think about it but I hope I get in!
  4. I have the HESI A2 study guide that I can mail to you for free if you'd like. You commented on my post before :) I studied only the math section in the study guide and passed with an 88% in math on the A2 and it was EXACTLY like the study guide. I say you take this year off and get all of your pre reqs done and reapply. Good luck. If you need anything let me know!!
