I passed! How I studied for CRNE:
I think you can answer this question yourself. I think what it boils down to is what kind of learner you are.. And what YOU think you will benefit from the most. For me I learn best independently, at my own pace. Others may find I helpful in a group, or from a course. I wish you luck

Before the Morning (Failed CRNE three times. what now?)
You ONLY get 3 chances. There is NO fourth chances; if you received another chance, then technically it would only be fair if all the other students got another chance, but then what is the point of rules/requirements.. Unfortunately, the only way to become an RN at this point is to redo the program all over again, or you could enroll in the program for practical nursing. Sorry ....

Have you already taken the CRNE? HELPPPP! Too much studying?
I am sorry you did not pass the exam. . No worries, you can do it!!! I used the Mosby's comprehensive review ONLY as a guide. I studied for 4 months. This is exactly what I did, in this exact order... 1) I read the entire Mosby book, and made notes on things I believed I needed a more thorough/ in depth understanding of. ( I also completed all the multiple choice quizzes at the end of each chapter). 2) CNA guide 3)I reviewed my Nursing text books from school (Med-surg, Maternal, Community, Mental Health etc)... Now I pretty much reviewed these books front to back, but I more skim read through them an stopped at topics I needed to further explore (This is where I used my notes from number 1)( I also completed all the multiple choice quizzes at the end of each chapter). 4) CNA guide 5) re-read Mosby's 6) CNA guide Hope this helps, good luck :)

CRNE Results June 2013
Hi all, I want to congratulate everything on writing the June 2013 exam. I wish everyone the best of the luck. I know we are all patiently awaiting for our results now. 4-6 weeks seems like forever. How did everyone find the exam? I wrote my exam in Ontario. I found the test to be fair, but difficult at the same time. I felt like for every question I was able to narrow it down to 2 answers, both of which seemed like the correct answers. This was very frustrating. I wish I could say I did really well, but the truth is I really don't know. (lol). All I can say is we studied and tried our hardest, and now let's hope for the best. Have faith in yourselves. We did it. :) Again, good luck, and may the bell curve be forever in your favor.
