I'm hoping to get into the program for fall 2013. I'm 40 yrs old & have been back & forth about a career in nursing for quite some time. The deciding factor for me was when my grandmother passed. Just witnessing how caring the entire staff was with her at hospice, even through the night, & knowing they made her final days as comfortable as possible. They talked to us when we just needed someone to listen, made us as comfortable as possible, & helped to ease the pain of losing her as much as they could. After she passed, my sisters & I went back to the hospice to thank the staff for making her last moments the best they could be. It was that day, I knew what I wanted, no needed to do. I want to give patients & their families the support, care, & comfort those wonderful & incredible people gave us!! Thank you to all nurses, techs, aides, & anybody else I may have missed for what you do on a daily basis. You have definitely made a huge impact on this life! Hopefully I will be able to do the same one day! :-)

Truly hope we do! Either way is better than not knowing. Or that may just be me, lol. When you get a response, please post! I'll do the same. Keeping the prayers going & the fingers crossed for all! =)

Does anybody know when Bevill starts notifying students of acceptance? The wait is almost unbearable! :-)

Hello to all! Loving this thread! I'm a 40 yr old mom of 3. My oldest (21) is actually going to the same college. I've taken all of my pre reqs, except micro & a&p 2. Praying, hoping, crossing fingers & toes that I get accepted! A little concerned considering other applicants' accomplishments. But I did place "advanced" on the TEAS-V & have a 3.76 gpa. Just concerned it won't be enough... Hopefully we hear about acceptance by next week, but unsure. The wait is torture! Congratulations & good luck to you all! :-)

This thread is pretty old, but I haven't had any luck finding anything more recent. Just wondering if anybody knows about when we might hear about acceptance for 2013? I placed "advanced" on TEAS-V & have a 3.76 GPA. Considering the vast accomplishments of other applicants, I'm pretty worried about getting in. If anybody else out there is going for Bevill, or has any advice, all comments are greatly appreciated!! The wait is such a struggle! :-)
