  1. EhKim86 I am in the same boat as you! Has anyone else not yet paid for their classes? I was told by the financial aid office that there was an error with my ABSN registration, it is now fixed, but my FAFSA application was at a stand still b/c of the error so my financial aid award will not be ready before class begins
  2. Regarding the vaccines, for most of them you can get titers that will test for immunity. I had to do this before volunteering at a hospital. If the titer shows no immunity, then you have to get the vaccine. Check with your doctors office.
  3. Just an FYI - to get the best price on the books I bought 2 of them from Concordia's bookstore and the other 2 from Half.com. Total was $94.34 for all 4 books.
  4. Thank you for creating this FB page! I recognize you, you were in my interview group. I just joined the FB group too :)
  5. Ya me too, I only paid the deposit. Not sure when the balance is due. I guess we'll find out more at the orientation...? I didn't have any issues with my email either. Did you see that the PW for email and the PIN# for accessing MyCUI are different? Did you perhaps try to use the same passcode for both?
  6. So I guess the difference is the teachers. I registered in 20670 for NTHL 101 since that teacher was rated well on ratemyprofessors.com. I also registered for 20673 for NTHL 202. I could not find this teachers rating but 20674 was booked and 20675 had only a so-so teacher rating. Hope this helps!
  7. I was thinking of just picking the 1st option in each category - not sure what the difference is...? You?
  8. Hi thankful77 - I tried to reply but I can't submit private messages yet. Maybe send me your email in PM?
  9. I was in the 1st day of interviews, group C I think... By July 29th you have to accept/reject. The acceptance packet arrived in the mail yesterday. I'm really sorry to those that haven't heard anything and/or didn't get in. I applied for Summer 2013, had an interview and felt totally confidant, yet I got a denial letter. I know what it feels like to want it so bad but not get it. I reapplied for Fall, re-interviewed and got accepted so don't give up! Maybe it'll happen for you all next application period.
  10. The acceptance email said "Congratulations and Welcome to Concordia University Irvine’s ABSN Program" and had more instructions in it. Today I also received a 2nd email stating that all decision letters were mailed out as of 7/16.
  11. Hang in there! Maybe you'll have a packet waiting for you at home. The email said they were mailed out yesterday...
  12. Same here, I got mine at 11:17am.
  13. I got an acceptance email! Thank you God!! =) Anyone else??
  14. Hi all, I talked to Henny, Assistant Director of Admissions at Concordia, yesterday and today b/c I had a question about my pre-reqs and she said that letters would go out by Wednesday. Not sure if they are doing both email and letter notification but I thought I'd pass along what she said. Keeping my fingers crossed.
