Just got the call of acceptance! Faster than I thought lol

I did really well! It only took me a little over 2 hours and it was MUCH easier than I thought it would be. They said that my score was really good, and I would hear back by the end of the week whether or not I've been accepted, but I don't see why I wouldn't be. I'm just SO ready to go back to school and get my degree.

I'm heading there tomorrow to take my HESI. I'm so overly nervous lol. I took the NLN pre-entrance exam at a school in Virginia (and passed with flying colors) so here's hoping that I'll do well on the HESI too. How do you all like attending Chamberlain? I am trying to get in to the September start date, and only have 1 semester of "pre-reqs" before I start my core nursing classes so I should only have a little over 2 years to go!

Hello, this is my first post here, and I love all of the great info that I am reading on this site! I graduated from high school in 08, and have been going to school off and on since then, I have all of my prerequisites completed. I applied for a nursing program to Norfolk State University in Virginia last year, and was accepted, but in between putting in the application and receiving my acceptance letter, I found out I was pregnant, and of course my due date was the date that orientation started haha. Anyways, I couldn't go through the program, and now I'm a Mommy to a 9 month old (who I've been staying at home with since birth) and am finally applying to a nursing program again. I'm so ready to be done with school and be a RN, but I'm very nervous about how much time that nursing school will consume. I'm ready to make the sacrifice now so that I can provide my daughter with a much better future, but it's just sad that I'm going to be away from her a lot after being with her 24/7. I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance/advice from any other Mommy's who went through nursing school.
