  1. Thanks everyone! I'm off to the store today to see what I can find. I think I'll try the exfoliating daily with a St. Ives scrub first, then move on to other ideas if necessary. My new health insurance does not start until mid May, so I will go see my derm after that if things do not improve.
  2. Okay, I really hate to admit to this, but it's getting worse, so thought I would start by asking about it here. :imbar A few weeks ago I noticed a few, as in 3 or 4, hairs ingrown into my skin on my right shin. I thought it was a little strange, but no big deal right? I picked them out with tweezers, shaved them off, all gone. So, since then I usually shave every other day or every 2 days (I know some of you shave daily, sorry I just can't do it). I keep noticing more and more hairs growing straight down into my skin on both shins, no where else. It doesn't grow long then start to go into the skin, as soon as I shave I notice hairs just under the skin. I can see the hair, so I keep tweezering (is that an appropriate nursing term?) and it's starting to make me nuts. I just spent the last 15 minutes working on my left shin trying to get them all out. What the heck is going on? Iv'e been telling my husband for a couple of years that I want laser hair removal, maybe I'll be getting it sooner than I thought. Any ideas, no matter how crazy, I'm open to anything at this point, anyone that solves this gets a prize and I'll be totally devoted to ya! Thanks! :bowingpur
  3. Does anyone know a good website for practicing my math and medication calculations? I'm starting a new job soon and they will be testing me on it. I remember in school passing okay, but having to practice quite a bit in advance. Math was never my strongest subject, but I got through college Algebra with enough homework and practicing, I just have to stick with it. If no websites, how about some math problems to refresh my memory on what I have to know. If I remember correctly there were problems on drips for an IV, changing the mg to gm, etc. type problems, what else? Thanks!
