  1. If a facility cancel's contract because of scheduling issues, what are the repercussions of this to me as the traveler? Are there fees? All info is welcomed.
  2. So I'm sure there's another traveler out there that is doing what I'm doing...working a travel job (full time) and my permanent job (part time) both are ER's. I've ran into an issue with scheduling- I had some days placed in my contract that I thought I worked at my perm job-5 of those days changed. I have one taken care of and 2 are the second week of the contract and the other 2 are hopefully far enough out I can manage to get it changed. I'm trying to get them covered, however if I can't the facility is saying they aren't sure what they can do... Needing advice on this situation and what will happen-since I can't obviously be in 2 places at the same time- yet I don't want to call in "sick" at my perm job but don't want to be disrespectful or disrespected at travel....
  3. What does everyone do for housing? The travel contracts I have done in the past I have taking the housing stipend because I have family in the area. I am thinking about taking a contract where I would need housing. I have 2 little dogs I would like to bring with me. I still would not be too far from home but far enough that I couldn't drive it everyday. I would like to have a home away from home type environment but not break the bank..Do you do weekly hotels? Airbnb? Get an apartment?
  4. I'm not sure about the restrictions but look at university of Cincinnati.
  5. I am extremely interested in hearing about the school workload and managing home and life. I myself am starting there BSN online program and then onto there NP program and wondering if I will be able to manage work and school.
