  1. It depends on where you want to live. If you are looking in the downtown area, it's going to be expensive (in my opinion). A lot of people live in Federal Hill or Fells Point. If you are looking to do that, I would try Craigslist because that seems to be where the most reasonably priced apartments and rowhomes are listed. I have friends who are paying $1600-1700/month for a one bedroom apartment in Federal Hill, and then others who are paying $2200/month for a three bedroom rowhouse so it varies. There are also a lot of places outside of the city you could live that are less expensive and that still wouldn't be too bad of a commute. Mt. Washington and Towson are two that come to mind, and they are about a 20 minute drive into the city. I hope this is helpful!
  2. University of Maryland Medical Center starts their new grads at $24.15/hr. A lot of the hospitals in the city have new grad programs - I'd try looking at UMMC, Hopkins, and Harbor Hospital.
  3. I took my exam yesterday in 88 questions. Got the good pop-up. I absolutely loved Hurst. Like a previous poster said, they are awesome in refreshing content. They also give you little phrases and ways to remember content which really helped me! They are completely content-based, so I found that their Q-review was mostly testing you on how well you knew the content they taught you. If you do Hurst, I would recommend also getting another practice question book (I used Lippincott 2013-2014 and Kaplan 2012-2013) as well as PDA by LaCharity. The awesome thing about Lippincott and PDA is that they separate their questions by system, which is how Hurst separates their review videos so it made it really easy to focus on one system at a time. Good luck to you!
  4. I definitely think dropping your application off in person is the way to go. Mine also only took a day to get my ATT sent to me after I dropped it off!
  5. I applied in the end of April and haven't heard either. I'm wondering if they are waiting for the end of graduation season...
