  1. I was a float pool tech for five years and we made 15% more in regards to base pay but no we didn't have a differential for being float. I agree with you about having to be able to switch gears at the drop of a hat and go to another floor and dive in. Just my two cents! Have a great day!
  2. I completely understand how you feel. I'm in Medsurg 1 right now and drowning is a good way to describe it! All I can offer is don't give up. It's an uphill battle all the way and there are many of us fighting alongside you. Those application NCLEX style questions are killer when you've never been exposed to them . Keep your chin up and let us know how this semester turns out!
  3. Being an EMT-B is not the same thing as being a CNA in terms of patient volume. Please don't judge this poster on something you know nothing about. When you have had 20-30 residents you are in charge of including meals, adl's, and vital signs and no help from the one nurse in the facility then feel free to tell us you would work for $8 an hour. I agree that it makes no sense to move to make $2 more an hour but there is nothing wrong with wanting more. You are rude and insensitive and I truly hope you show more compassion to your future patients than you did this poster.
  4. Pharmacology Made Insanely Easy. It'll be a lifesaver. Do try to enjoy your free time too.
