  1. So this is my first year being a school nurse and I love it. But I have a toddler that is constantly sick (I am guessing from daycare). There are just 3 weeks of school left and now my child is sick again and will be out of daycare for at least a week. My husband and I are thinking it might be better if I just stay home, at least then we wont have to worry about daycare costs AND backup sitter costs, plus *maybe* our child won't be sick as often. So my question is...is 2 weeks notice adequate for a school nursing position? If not, should I offer to come back for an additional 2 weeks in the next school year, making it a 4 week notice? Its just kind of bad timing and I am looking for advice...
