I am right behind you in a lil less than 3 weeks... I am trying to study, but I am tired and working 12 hr shifts...Did you attend a Hurst Review. I went with two of my friends and study and stay overnight before they tested on TUesday. And one of them called me today that she had received her liscense in the mail todaywith two of my friends last week to take NCLEX! They just studied the Hurst Review book only, and answered questions similar to NCLEX questions. Keep me posted...

Two of my friends took the Nclex on Monday (LA) and they paid 7.95 on Pearson website to get the unofficial results on Wed. morning. They both passed and they sound like their test was much the same as you guys. A lot of delegation, prioritizing, and a couple of med questions and a few all that apply. So I am sure you all did PASS! Please keep me in your prayers. I test in 3 weeks, and I am just beginning to study and working 12 hr shifts...so it is not easy as you all know... Thanks for any recommendations you may have

hi, i need one more nursing dx for a major care plan. anyone have any suggestions... it can't be r/t to nutrition... i have 5 already but need 6....any help is appreciated... i can not believe my nursing care plan books only have dx dealing with nutrition... thanks!!

The client has never had a stroke.... So maybe a TIA would be appropriate..Whatever the case I have several good nursing care plan books and none of them address any kind of stroke as a nursing diagnosis for hypertensive clients... So would injury be a way of stating CVA or TIA without usingthe actual medical diagnosis jof CVA or TIA

Ok, Thanks for some good info! I would say Thrombolic, b/c that would be associated with the arteries b/c occluded and blood flow to the area diminished. so is TIA considered injury ... THAnks again!

Thanks. Yes, I do understand how they are at risk for the stroke, but I do not know how to write the Nursing Dx itself b/c it has to be from the Nanda List and that is the problem I am having.. In other words can I put Risk for Stroke is not a Nursing DX.. Any suggestions? Thanks for the Help and the Welcome..

I am working on my major case study.. My instructor wants me to work through a nursing dx that will suggest the client is at risk for a stroke. Client has HTN. But what Nanda list nursing dx fits that... I don't think I can put Risk for Stroke b/c stroke is a medical dx. ANYONE CAN HELP WITH THIS? I appreciate it... I have to finish this by tommorrow... Thursday.
