  1. Hi everyone, my name is Ryan. I am a Registered Nurse currently working in Melbourne, Australia. I would like to move to New York City. Just wondering if anyone here done it before or on the same pathway? From my understanding, the steps of moving to US (New York state) for RN involve: 1. Starts with CGNFS for transcript evaluation), they will send the evaluation to NYSED. 2. Apply nursing license through NYSED. 3. Sit for NCLEX test. 4. Apply for jobs in NY. 5. Apply E3 visa. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong. I am at the very first stage now, submitting my application to CGNFS. If you have the same goal as me, either moving to US/ NY, please do not hesitate to contact me. We can work together to achieve the goal!.. Thanks!
  2. It's true that after u got ur RN registration, u are not allow to work as a carer/AIN/EN anymore because u are now have different responsibility and duty of care as a RN.
