  1. Are there any Virginia hospitals hiring new grads for 2013?

    Hello everyone! This is my first post so bear with me... I am about to graduate with my BSN. I have registered for my NCLEX and the Virginia board of nursing so that's all set. The only thing I am missing is a solid job prospect. Admittedly, I put all my eggs in one basket (UVa's nurse residency program) and it is looking like that might not happen... Needless to say, I need to pick up the pace and apply to more places. So my question is: Are there any hospitals that are hiring new grads in Virginia? I have found some, but I am looking for suggestions around Northern Virgina and Charlottesville... perhaps places that are not crazy competitive? Also, do my chances of getting hired somewhere increase when I pass the NCLEX? I'm discouraged because I got rejected from the first job that I interviewed for and I would love some promising new ideas. Thank you so much!
