I was accepted as a nursing attendant at NYP Columbia and have a big possibility of getting the externship at another hospital in the city that I have done my medsurg clinical rotation in. I originally wanted to do both and still do but I know it is quite impossible to do so. I was hoping for everyone's advice on this issue. For one thing, I feel like working at NYP as a nurse when I graduate will help me to gain more experience while the other hospital is more of a rehabilitation center. Both allow contingency to be a nurse attendant upon completion of summer program. One issue as well is distance from my home, as NYP is much farther and about an hour and a half commute but evening part time shifts.
