  1. Older nurses & no jobs

    I am an RN with 35 years ER experience. I moved to Missouri and have 20 applications out, have only had 4 interviews and still no job. When I called about positions I was told they were filled from inside. But the next week the position was posted again. When I called again no one can give me an answer. I have been told that I interview well and have a good resume. I am beginning to believe that there is a bias against number of years experience and top of pay scale and/or my age. Anyone else having problems?
