  1. In our NICU we ask parents to leave from 1900-1930/0700-0730
  2. I LOVE this letter. Does anyone know where it originated? I am a NICU nurse and we have all passed this around and shed a tear!
  3. I am thinking about travel nursing in NY. Whats the major differences nurses notice in private versus public hospitals? Are travle nurses welcomed? Also is there only orientation programs for new grads? What if I were to move to NYC? Thanks
  4. I failed my nclex the first time and just signed up for Hurst as well. Did you do practice questions form outside sources or just Hurst? Also did you feel at the end of Hurst you could recall all info exactly? how many days did you take the hurst course over?
  5. Thank you so much for replying to my post. I let myself cry for a few days and then I registered for Hurst review. Hopefully I can regain my confidence and pass the second time :) Really appreciate your post
  6. Thank you for replying to my post. I studied only the questions before I wrote the exam. But looknig back its my lack of experience in adults that was my weakness. I have enrolled in the Hurst course and am reviewing all the adultpatho. I really did study hard the first time but hopefully a shift in focus will help. Thanks again for your advice
  7. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my post :)
  8. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond! I have signed up for the HURST course and love it so far. I totally need to look at questions from an nclex point of view not from experience. Thanks again for the advice :)
  9. I am a Canadain RN and I have always dreamed of doing travel nursing to the USA. I have been working for two years and finally got up the confident to write my NCLEX-RN. I studied so much and purchased the Saunders Q&A, the RN EXCEL, Pearson revue and Kaplan common meds. I focused on doing the questions from the Saunders CDROM. I wrote the exam and felt really good about it. Only to find out I failed in the first 75 questions. I feel hopeless and stupid. I want to rewrite in 45 days but I have no confidence. I am thiking of doing the Hurst review online , its 300$ but hopefully it will help me pass. Has anyone taken this course? ANY advice on study materials, courses, etc would be GREATLY appreciated
  10. I am an RN in Canada and I have been working for two years in an NICU getting experience in hopes of doing travel nursing one day soon. I took my NCLEX exam and failed. I am devastated. I am going to re take it but have such little confidence now. I cant help but feel stupid for failing... Any suggestions on studying materials or what to focus on would be great.
