Well, the board will start on the 27th of August. I got an email from the person in charge of my packet stating I am missing my labs from my physical and need to mail those in. I mailed those off today and now will be just waiting for the results to come out early September.

Thanks for all your info ncox. I joined the facebook group. I turned in my packet on time. It's just the long waiting game now. We'll see how everything pans out. Good luck with your training!!

Who all turned in a packet on here? Is there a way to verify our packets were received? If our packets are good, will the first time we hear from the coordinator be after the board? Does anyone from a prior FY know what makes a packet more competitive than another? Any info from anyone accepted in another FY would be great. Goodluck to anyone that applied!

Laura_mo, did you email someone to find out your #, or did you call? I'm eager to find out where I stand. On your question, from what I understand, your place will change when your final transcripts get turned in. Hopefully for the better.

Hey Kellum, I cant make the meeting tomorrow. My day is pretty crammed with finals at OU. I will def be going to the second one though. If you don't mind posting some of the info you receive at the meeting. Are you planning on going the 1+1 route? If so, which tech school?

Thanks for the info kellum, I'm right behind you on the list then. I'm alternate #8. So if you get a call letting you know you have received a slot, please post! lol I would feel (HOPE) like my call would come shortly after yours :)

One more thing, when is everyone that got accepted last day to accept/verify their acceptance? I figure that day is when most alternates that have a chance will get in.

Hey RN2BeInOKC, I'm alternate #8. I hope they take mid 20's again so many of us can get in. Good luck to you! If I don't get in, I have to go into the 1+1. I can't do the night program next semester, and I don't want to wait a year, so 1+1 will have to work. Not ideal, but owell.

Congrats to everyone that got in!! Im an alternate. I was just curious to see if anyone knows how many alternates usually get picked up. Or if anyone has talked to someone on campus about how many alternates have got in the last couple programs. I did get an invite to the 1+1 program also, but the times for the lpn programs are pretty excessive. Hopefully I get picked up, but if not, I will be going the 1+1 route.

Letter came today. Alternate at all three schools. Like I said earlier, Its better than just denied. Good Luck to everyone else.

Hey everyone, I got an email back from someone at OUHSC saying the letters were actually mailed out today. I take this as they should be in everyone's mailbox tomorrow if you live around here.
