  1. Hi X-Treme! I wish you and your GF all the best with you relocation. While California's salaries are good, the cost of living there is VERY high. You can may similar salaries in Texas and Louisiana where the cost of living is much lower. I moved from New Orleans, LA. to Houston, Texas. The weather here is warm and humid...and can get downright HOT in the summer. I am actually thinking of relocating to Vancouver next year. Any info/advice on obtaining my RN licensure. Can you recommend any hospitals in the area and places to live? Thanks so much and let me know if I can help you further. You can send me a PM.
  2. Thank you for the prompt response and info. I am actually on a year-long contract in Texas at the moment. I won't be able to relocate before next Spring. However, I do want to start doing some research on jobs in Canada. I had already read about having to take the exam....*sigh* It's been over 17 years since I took the N-CLEX! Thanks again! :)
  3. Hi everyone! I just happened to "stumble" upon this site. What a "Godsend!" Anyways, I am looking for information on how to go about obtaining an RN license and job in Canada. I am specifically looking for info on the Vancouver, BC area. I am a US Citizen and I want to travel to BC. I see ALOT of information on how Canadian nurses can travel to the US, but not the opposite. I would appreciate any advice you can offer. I would like to hear from people who have done this and their experiences....good and bad. Please feel free to send me a PM. Thank you!
