LPN to RN bridge program that includes prereqs?
Hi. I am a student at WCU orange county. I am in term 5 of 8.. just started the lvn-rn bridge program and start clinicals in term 6. I agree the price is outrageous, however would def recommend going to WCU. The first 9 months are all pre req classes and you can work during these terms. It is not too hard and should be manageable by most. Now that the nursing portion is starting I can already tell we are in for it. The term ahead of me in clinicals said that they are overwhelmed and it is so much work. I do have to say though, it FLIES by!! I can't believe I am more than halfway done. My advice is just start, don't think about it for a few more months. Chances are that the price will increase and you'll just be loosing out on time that you could be getting RN salary! Hope this helps :)

West Coast University?
I think it was like $100.00 more, not sure why though. But if you think about gas money driving an extra day to school it is kinda worth it...

West Coast University?
The cost is definitely high, but I have to say it is worth it. Just think, if you put it off even longer than that is more time (and $) lost. I am pretty sure that the cost goes up with time. It really does fly by too. It has been 11 months for me and it seems to be just yesterday I started. The first 4 terms of prerequisites are fairly simple, not too hard, just don't let yourself become overwhelmed. I would def recommend online classes if you can discipline yourself to do the work because you have much more time to work or do other things. Let me know if you have any questions for me I would be happy to answer them for you! :wink2:

West Coast University?
I just started my 5th term at WCU Anaheim campus. So far it has not been too bad. If you have a family and are working it might be a little more stressful to do. I took english, psych, and sociology online and found it fairly easy. As long as you stay on top of your work and don't fall behind. I had Dr. Mo for A and P, he is a great teacher. Very nice, funny, and understanding of the fact that WCU is not our life, we have other things going on too. I just started microbiology and the LVN-RN transition course. The transition course seems like it is going to be a lot of work (group projects, care plans, hesi to pass, etc) but the term ahead of me did it so i know it's possible). Good luck to you

Ready for NCLEX when you graduated? Sorry, i know I am asking a lot but I just want to be menatlly prepared. Thank you so much for you time!!!!! Any response will help!
