  1. Is $23.75/hr in chicago fair or still dubious? thanks.
  2. what packet r u right now?r u from philippines? did you finish your medical exam already? St. Lukes? would you mind tell me what are those basic tests if you already undergone such? Is it really true that you can't gain entry in the US when your are positive with Hep B? thanks. God bless you
  3. thanks for the information. i just want to know if you have had the medical exam already. What are the tests done during the exam? How much is it? Thanks>>>>>>>> God bless you.
  4. thanks for answering my queries. It really helps me a lot. God bless you.
  5. Good day. Are you really sure? Why and how did you know all these bills? Where are your from? Is that possible? Who told you exactly about these bills and the recent results in the congress? thanks God bless you!
  6. good day! i guess we just have to wait and hope for the best. Just remember: TODAY IS A GIFT AND TOMORROW IS A MYSTERY. No one really knows what will happened. Just dont expect something to the congress. It is better not to expect anything than to expect something that might frustrate you. God bless you all guys. Lets pray that those bill in congress will be passed.
  7. i dont have the funds i am planning to take the nurse practitioner program when i am alrready working in the US. I keep on thinking in pursuing my master's here because realistically the immigration process will takes so much time. I don't want my time to be wasted. thanks. god bless you. have a nice week ahead of you
  8. my problem is that f it would be better if i take my master's because the process in immigration is really though. If i will stay here for 2years or more i might as well go to grad school to earn MAN. but you were stipulating that is i should do the whole thing in the US and earn a MSN,NP degree?. So if i do it here and have a nurse practitioner program in the US; it only means i earned two master's in nursing. quite redundant! MAN,MSN,NP? thanks god bless you! are you still teaching right now or working in the hospital as a nurse? good luck
  9. I sign a contract with the hospital but they r tie up with the agency who is responsible for immigration processing their stuff is for payment only. It was stated in the contract that the employer r responsible for the agency and lawyer's fee and we will be the one who is responsible for visascreen, medical exam and visa application. i got the result of my tse and i failed. I got 45. too close. what do you think would i do next? you mean when i finish my nurse-practitioner certification in the US i will have a master's degree also. so, it is pointless to have my Master's degree here. I tought it is two different entity. thanks... God bless you.
  10. thanks for the information. what will happened if after i filed for visascreen and then i receive a failing grade in tse? is my application still valid. how long do you think will the retrogression will agonize us? what is the usual time frame in visa processing after you already sign a contract with your employer without retrogression? if with retrogression? do you think i can finish my masters during those period? the processing of my papers will be 1-2years. is it realistic? Thus the processing of papers are different from one country to another depending to your lawyer and employer. if i finished my masters here would i be eligible to enroll for nurse practitioner program in the US? Being enrolled in that programs needs a master's degree or not? i will take my nclex when im already in chicago(mercy hospital and medical center) -that was stated in the contract. is the processing of student visa is faster compare to immigrant visa? where did you finished your bsn and mba degrees? thanks for the time you have spent in answering my questions god bless you.
  11. Praised be Jesus and Mary! hello Im orlando from the philippines. I already have my cgfns certificate but still havent filed for visacreen certificate because im still waiting for the result of the TSE. I already sign a contract in one of the hospital in chicago. Do you think it would be process as early as possible eventhough there are regression. Im planning to take my master's here but my mom and her collegues discouraged me because there is a possibility to expedite the processing. is it true? I am really confused because i want to start my masters already. How long would the retrogression take effect to us Asian? Are my earned units in my masters here in the Philippines will not be credited when i planned to continue it in the US? For example, I already finish my masters would I be eligible to pursue different graduate degrees in the US like PhD, nurse practioner or nurse anesthetist. I really need your advice! thanks. God bless you
