  1. Anyone hear anything yet? I'm getting impatient lol!!
  2. Yeah it sucks waiting. Did you guys apply to any other programs at all?
  3. I haven't heard back yet, they told me around the middle of March we would hear back. I'm kinda nervous though, they said there was about 120 applicants and there is only 28 spots.
  4. I applied to Edgewoods accelerated BSN program and have my interview this week. Just wondering if anyone else applied or if anyone has gone through the program and could give me an idea of the interview questions. Thanks much!
  5. Hey everyone So I just got the email. I've been put on the waitlist, so sort sucks but I suppose I still have a small chance. So if there is anyone that gets accepted please consider if this is really what you want because I desperately do want to be in this program!! Good luck everyone!
  6. Well no phone interview yet, so I guess I'll consider that a good thing. Yeah all those silly random emails US Oshkosh keeps sending is making me crazy lol! Can't we just hear back by now!
  7. Any news yet everyone??
  8. I just scheduled my email interview. They said that not all re-applicants do another phone interview, so that will be interesting to see if I get one or not. But they said it doesn't hurt you if you don't. Good luck everyone, hope your not as anxious as I am!!
  9. Anyone hear anything yet? I'm getting impatient lol!
  10. I haven't heard anything yet either. Last time it took about a month and a half til they contacted me about the online interview. I'm not too worried about not hearing anything yet. I believe everyone that has met the requirements gets an online interview. It's just the phone interview that they start to cut down the applicants. The online interview is pretty easy though, not anything to worry about.
  11. Hello everyone, I am currently applying to the program and just had a few questions who those who were already accepted. Typically who did you guys have do you references? Were they nurses, teachers, or just bosses from you jobs? What were you're GPA's (if you don't mind sharing) Also what kind of things did you guyes include in your personal statement and roughly how long were they. I would really appreciate any input/insight you guys could offer! Thanks in advance.
  12. Have you applied to the program before. I had a slight issue with one of my recommendations, it was my CNA class teacher (she was a public health nurse) She said she was going to do it, then never did and I could never get a hold of her. So after the application was due they let me quick find another one. She was a nurse, but more of a family friend. My other recommendation was not a nurse, just one of my bosses. This time I have 2 working RN's as recommendations, so that should help. I also just have been working as a CNA, so I have a few months more experience in a skilled nursing facility than I had last time I applied. I also retook my Teas and got a better science score. So I'm hoping that all this helps! Yeah we probably won't hear for a few more weeks. Last time it was a month til I got an email to schedule my online interview.
  13. They really didn't give me a specific reason. But I talked to Sue about reapplying, and she just pointed out some areas where I could improve (more CNA experience, better recommendation...etc) They will just email you saying that you were not accepted, if you don't get in.
  14. Hi, I am also applying for the May 2014 cohort. I applied to the last cohort and I didn't get in so I'm trying it again. Hopefully this time I get in. Are you applying to any other schools?
  15. Thanks, Undsnow! The phone interview went really well I thought. They said I would most likely hear back the end of May, so now its just waiting. I have about 4 months of CNA experience, but worked as a health screener for a year and a half before that so I hope they take that into consideration. My GPA is what really hurts me though, it is a little low. Oh well now its just time to relax and enjoy that beautiful weather we are having in WI!
