  1. RMN and RGN considering move to Canada from UK

    Hi there, first post from me. I am a UK trained RMN and my fiancée is a UK trained RGN or RNA. We’re considering moving to Canada in a few years. Am I right in thinking she will be immediately able to work anywhere in Canada, whereas I would only be able to work in the four western provinces? Would either of us need to do any conversion of qualifications? Also, I am currently considering doing a Masters Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice. In the UK this would allow me to work as a Consultant Nurse/ Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Would doing this be of any benefit to being able to practise in other provinces or would I still have to complete a conversion course? Thanks in advance for any replies. R.
