I graduated from nursing school in May of 2009 and passed my boards in August 2009. I got my first RN job in Feb. of 2010. And unfortunately I have recently relocated and had to quit that job. Even with 5 months experience as an RN no one wants to touch me at the hospitals. I've been applying for jobs for the last 3 months with not a single call back. Let me also add that I had spoken to the nurse manager on the Pediatric floor that I did my leadership on. I was told to fill out the application and she would take care of it and get me a job on the floor. When I called about it after my leadership term was over the nurse manager didn't care to speak to me. You can't take anyone's word for anything anymore.
