  1. Thanks Penny, I'll try to keep on top of that. I appreciate all your help.
  2. Wait listed. Trying really hard to handle this news but just really disappointed. Does anyone know how many people they typically wait list every year?
  3. Come on USPS, don't fail me now.
  4. Well today came and went and still no letter, I can't believe I have to wait at least two more days to find out, just frustrating. Congrats Pavologa, very exciting news! Sorry again to those that didn't get it, you'll find the school thats right for you.
  5. No letter for me yet either, this waiting is killing me. Keep your heads up Traceemarie and Aleyoop, everything happens for a reason, i truly believe that, best of luck to you both. I think the town of Newton has their mail situation together and the rest of our towns are slacking. One day more.
  6. They did say they send them May 1st right? People said they received them last year on the 2nd and 3rd.
  7. Looks like I was right, nothing today.
  8. Well today's the day, or maybe that's just what I've been telling myself for the last month. I've just expected this letter to come today because I'm so close to Milton, but it will be just my luck that it doesn't and I'll be checking my mailbox like a fool for the next week. This is torture!!! At least we're all in this together. Best of luck everyone!
  9. Only 4 more days! Getting nervous.
  10. I couldn't agree more, this is the reason this program exists, and I really think it's so great that you get people from all walks of life in one tiny cohort. I really like Pshych. It's dfifferent, you have to be really pateint and good with people and it can be really rewarding. I'm not sure if I want to stay in it though, might go onto medical and come back, we'll see, i guess it all depends on where I get a job. And you come from the business/marketing world? What's that like? Any idea which side of nursing you want to go into?
  11. Haha. I thought the exact same thing when that envelope came. I have a BA in Theatre with a GPA of 3.4, and my prereq GPA is 3.9. I was an actor and lived all over the country but moved home to Boston last year to start my prereqs. I currently work in the mental health field at a local hospital. I am married with no kids just yet. I am excited and nervous all at the same time because Curry is the only place I have applied and the only place I want to go. Judging from everyone's feedback it really is the place to go, and May 1 can't come soon enough.
  12. Now we have a pretty nice thread going here. Thanks for sharing everyone, it's nice to know we are all going through this madness together. I have four prereqs done, I'm almost done with my fifth, and then that just leaves Chemistry for me this summer. I also remember hearing at the info session that it would be ridiculous to assume that we all had all of our prerequs completed, seeing as how the program doesn't start until January, so I'm hoping that holds true. 20 days... but who's counting? Oh wait I am. Ha. Best of luck to everyone!
  13. Thanks Mapie. How are you liking the program so far?
  14. My check just cleared too. I also got a letter from Curry last week telling me they received all of my materials and my application was "under review." I keep hoping that they will send the letters early but judging from last year it's the first week of May. I am also from the Boston area, about twenty minutes from campus.
