I know this response is very late but thank you so much for your post! I'm on my third week of floor shifts and you were so right about brushing up on those major topics - I've seen them all happen already! I've also, like you predicted, learned so much already. Thank you for your support again!

I just accepted an offer in a Level III ED as a Graduate Nurse who has been out of school for about a year. I am very excited to start my career FINALLY, but am very nervous about being rusty. I start orientation April 8th and would love some feedback from ER RNs on what you would recommend me brushing up on/focusing on to study. It's already hard enough that I am a year out of school and rusty, but it's even harder starting off in the ED where we did not get much exposure to in school anyways. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
