  1. I interviewed Tuesday. The program seems well developed. Even with major changes to the program (i.e. MS to DNP) the transitions appear to be going smoothly. OP, do you work at Loyola?
  2. Only took about 3 weeks after I sent in my app.
  3. Hey I have an interview at Wolford College in Naples, Florida in two weeks for their CRNA program starting Feb 2014. I'm not concerned about the interview. I was just wondering, has anyone else has interviewed and what they thought of the school, faculty and program? In addition, I was denied an interview at Rosalind Franklin in Chicago for a start date of Feb 2014 (where I currently reside). I love the city and would really enjoy staying up here. I will have 3-4 graduate level classes under my belt by next summer, have my CCRN and TNCC, and would apply for RFU for a start date of Feb 2015. I will more than likely get accepted into Wolfords program and just need to decide if I should stay in Chicago and attempt to get into RFU or just accept Wolford's offer. I have also applied to Murray state in KY, Millikin in Decatur, IL, and SIUE in Edwardsville. However, I really DO NOT want to attend those three school any longer, my focus has changed. I love the city and would love to stay in the city and make stronger attempt to get into RFU's CRNA program. Again, with that being said I could just start at Wolford College this next Febuary 2014 and by the time I started at RFU in Feb 2015 I would already have a year complete and less than 15 months left (sooner I'm done, the sooner I can move back to Chicago and start practicing as a CRNA). P.S. I have a girl friend in the FNP program at Rush University Medical Center and she would NOT be able to move because she also works at Rush and tuition is free. If I took the position at Wolford we would both graduate within the same month. Please provide me with some insight to my delimma!
  4. nope, no interview or anything. I have an interview in Florida this month. I just really wanted to stay in Chicago. I'll be moving back after school.
  5. Just received a rejection letter.
  6. Keep me posted on your progress!
  7. I have only applied to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville that past two years. This current year I have completed applications for Murray State University, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Millikin University in Decatur, Rosalind Franklin, Wolford College, and preparing to apply for a school in RI, CT, PA, and CA. I received an offer for an interview at Wolford College this past week. However, I'm hoping to receive an interview and acceptance into Rosalind Franklin's program as I currently live in Chicago.
  8. I sent in my application during the first week of June and it is also my first time applying for the NA program at Rosalind Franklin. I have been an ICU nurse for four years. GRE 305, ACLS, PALS, taking CCRN exam in August (not in time to help add weight to my application though), BSN GPA 3.3, Cumulative undergrad GPA 2.9 (played around my first semester) and currently enrolled in a graduate Physiology course. Strong letters of recommendation from my ICU director, CV surgeon, and a CRNA. I currently work ICU at RUSH in Chicago. I perform exceptionally well during interviews and have great interpersonal communication skills. I'm also 26 years old, just to give others an idea of the age range of applicants. I've read other posts that state there were 108 applicants for the 2012 class and they accepted 22-25 candidates. Anyone else reviewing this please post your stats! Thank you.
