I am also a second courser. Does my first course needs to be evaluated since my basic sciences like chemistry and physics were credited in my nursing?

Thank you! NS is my life now. Moving overwhelms me especially when I think about my career. I guess I'm going to apply for CES tonight. I'm still debating which state to apply, Oregon or Florida.

I emailed Tennessee BON and told them that I don't want to take CGFNS exam. This is the reply, "If you find a state that does not require the CGFNS Certificate and you are license in that state by NCLEX then you can endorse to TN." I know that process takes time but I don't want to wait for a year to take the NCLEX. I am hoping to find a State that has a processing time of 4-6 months. Thanks.

Hi, Silverdragon! Thank you for the response. I was reading some of the threads and I noticed that you are very knowledgeable about this. I'm going to marry a US citizen. That's the only reason why I'm going to transfer which sucks. Do you know what state process faster? I'm thinking of applying in Florida or Oregon. What do you think? :) By the way, I also live here in NS.

Hi, everyone! I am working as a RN here in Canada. I was educated in the Philippines. I am moving to Tennessee 2 months from now. I don't want to take CGFNS and I emailed Tennessee BON about it. The reply was I could take NCLEX in another State and apply for reciprocity. I don`t know which State to apply. In my understanding, I couldn`t apply to the compact state as Tennessee belongs to it. I heard that New York takes a year to process the paper. I don`t want to wait that long. I`m really confused right now. Please help...
