  1. I live a good 3 and 1/2 hours away so I would need to relocate to Chambersburg. What kinds of things do you know about the hospital?
  2. Hi all, I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me a little bit about the Chambersburg hospital in Pennsylvania? Anyone who works there now or has in the past? What is good and bad about the place? I'm currently trying to decide between a few hospitals and would appreciate everyone's feedback. Thanks, Glrer21
  3. Dear mom12, It sounds to me that you need to relax first...Just take a few minutes and lay down, close your eyes take some deep breaths and try to think about only one thing just for a moment...It sounds crazy but I've done this relaxation technique many times and it has done wonders for me...Also you need to make sure that you don't cram when you study...Focus only on a few concepts at once per night until you've studied everything you needed to then go back and refresh your memory on these items before the big test, it will be a lot less stressful...This is how I can study the best..The key is studying gradually, no one has the ability to sit down and study 10 chapters worth of information in one night and completely focus only on that...It's just too much information at one time and it is easy to forget what you've studied because you haven't adjusted your brain... Lastly, also stay confident and believe in yourself...If you really want to do well you WILL... Good Luck!! I hope my advice will help you!!! ~Glrer21
  4. I took the NLN last October...The scores range from 0-200...It is recommended to get at least a 100 to help your chances of getting into nursing school...I did really well on mine I got a 125 and I was accepted into nursing school...I used a great book to help me study for the test and it was very helpful it's called the NLN Review Guide for RN Pre-Entrance Exam. You can order this book online at most book stores..It costs around $26, but it is well worth the money...I remember that the majority of the test was science especially Biology and Chemistry so it would be good to study the science section the most.....You can even go to the NLN website to do a few practice questions.. The website is http://www.nln.org....so you can check it out...I wish you the best of luck on this test...Always stay confident and get lots of sleep the night before the test and you'll do just fine...Good Luck!!!! Keep us posted on your results!!! Glrer21
