I'm also wanting to move to australia..i have already applied to ahpra...have to give ielts per ahpra as i didn't do my high school in usa....will keep u guys updated...preparing for ielts now..hope i'll get the required 7!!

Hey..i am also applying to ahpra for certification now...i called tx bon and they told me send a written application requesting them to send my license verification to ahpra and the ahpra address in australia to mail to. Sent them $25 cheque as requested. Dont forget to mention your tx rn license no. I also sent ahpra cerified copies of my paper tx rn license and my nclex passing paper from bon.. Hope tht helps...i think the person u talked to at tx bon did not know abt this process.. I just did this in feb 13....
