Hi All. MRev good job on the hesi! MsP - I want a packet!!! I hope it doesnt take so long, Im freaking about the tuition also! I got a phone call saying that Ill be getting a packet or a phone call or something, I dont remember... Did you have to put your deposit down before the packet came or after?

Just took my Hesi yesterday, I got a 92 (yay?) The math was mostly fractions, ratios and percent and decimal conversions, it would also help to remember that table with oz. quarts gallons and grams/kilograms. The reading comprehension was pretty basic, but I didn't feel like I was completely prepared for the vocabulary ( that was also my lowest score @84) If I could do it again I would go back over the vocab in the book and go over the vocab in the anatomy and physiology and biology chapters also (which they told me we didnt have to study). Also, there was a "critical thinking" section that really threw me through a loop as there was nothing I saw in the book to study for that, but I don't think that section is graded bc it wasn't in my report so don't stress over it too much after like I did!! They also said that you will get an email with the results by 6pm that day but my results weren't posted until about noon today (also major stress for me!) Good Luck!!

Wow, Aint' That the truth! FSU Thank you for this feed, I'm so glad I stumbled upon it... I too was in banking for a long time as a ChFC and recently left my AVP position to go to nursing school. Although I do have the support of my family I think most of them think I've lost my mind and are being "nice". I feel they (along with former colleagues) think I'm suffering from a mental break! I've always wanted to be a nurse but missed my chance in college the 1st time around. I graduated and stumbled into banking and again stumbled my way up very quickly. I was good at what I did, in all accounts pretty successful but I couldn't help feeling... like I didn't belong there. As natural as the job came to me, it just never felt natural (if that even makes sense). After 4 years of "almost" leaving to go back to school and one time even going in with my resignation and being talked out of it, I recently, finally, made the jump. I left my position and am now applying to nursing schools. I've heard that there are people out there that decide to change careers, but in this economy I know its becoming less and less. I'm just glad that I found someone else who has the courage to do it!! Good luck to you!!

Not waiting yet, I just applied today. I take the HESI on 4/5. Did you ever get an acceptance? When did/ do you start?

Just applied for Fall '13. My HESI is scheduled for 4/5. Does anyone know if you get your grade right away, or how long it takes to find out what you got on the HESI? Thanks
