  3. This info came from Lisa...I'm hoping for Thursday also but judging by previous post Friday seems to be tradition.
  4. I just called and they stated it will be another week or two, no specific date is planned :/
  5. You're right today has to be the day lol!!!
  6. I guess if we don't hear anything by 3:30-4:00 today we can almost bet it will be next week on Good Friday.
  7. I spoke with a counselor she stated someone has 24 points this year but nobody has ever had that amount of points. I think we will all be fine. We gotta think positive!
  8. Is anyone going to be working fulltime? I just accepted an evening position 3-11 pm in hopes that I will be accepted so I really need those letters to come out tomorrow lol.
  9. I'm really hoping tomorrow is the day! Hopefully them saying mid to late April is just standard protocol. Good luck ladies!!!!

  11. BJC | Help nursing students envision a career at BJC HealthCare by inviting them to attend one of two upcoming student nurse socials. This spring, two socials will offer nursing students an opportunity to meet BJC hiring managers, hear from current nurses about why they chose BJC, and learn more about making medicine better as a nurse at one of BJC's 15 hospitals or multiple community health locations. Share the following event details with nursing students who have visited your unit or department and with friends or family attending nursing school: Thursday, Mar. 16, 4-7:30 p.m. Christian Hospital Paul F. Detrick Building, ground floor 11133 Dunn Road | St. Louis, Mo. 63136 [*]Tuesday, Apr. 4, 4-7:30 p.m. BJC Learning Institute, lower level 8300 Eager Road | St. Louis, Mo. 63144 Students can RSVP by visiting BJC.org/NurseSocial.
  12. How long after the DET did everyone receive their application complete email?
  13. Thanks so much KateR this was helpful fresh how will I be able to work
  14. Ok I got 2 points on Math and 2 points on English which puts me at 19. I'm so happy that part is over!!! Now the wait and recalculating of points over and over begins lol. I also need to find a evening position in my current career so I can go to class in the mornings/afternoons. Any 2nd years reading comments by chance please share approximately what time we're out of class each day....thanks!
  15. Mrsmk99 that is awesome congrats on your points! Where does the .5 come from in your 20.5? I saw on previous threads that 1/2 points were given but I wasn't sure how.
  16. If you're pretty confident that you will get in I say start working on your immunizations to. Some people know exactly where their shot record is and is current, but I noticed on other threads that some people had no clue about their shots. Also enjoy this time doing things you love and spending time with family because once the program starts so much of your time will be dedicated to clinicals and studying.
  17. Thank you for the tips, I have been studying English the past couple weeks. I am going to study Math all this week. I downloaded an app called DET complete which was 5.99, but seems pretty helpful with English.
  18. Hello everyone I applied for Summer 17 and I am going into the DET with only 15 points. Does anyone have any study tips?! I took the DET in 2013 and failed both parts I purchased the study guide yesterday, but if anyone has any other tips I am all ears. I am scheduled to take the exam March 7th. I think that everyone with over 18 points will be just fine from talking with others. I haven't taken Algebra in almost 10 years. I want to get in so badly. Good luck to everyone!
  19. I applied for the Fall 2013. I have all prerequisites done and I passed the reading pre-entrance test but failed math. Can someone please give me pointers on how to pass the math test PLEASE!!!!! That's all I need to be accepted
  20. I am soooo nervous I take the DET test in the morning!!!!
