  1. Oh, thanks for sharing this. I will need hepatitis B, so I better get it too. It's not really our fault that this vaccine takes so long to be complete. So I presume this won't be a problem... I hope.
  2. I am enrolled in J002 for Lecture and J0C6 for clinicals (Fridays).
  3. Is anybody using the https://www.certifiedprofile.com/ to provide information of vaccination, background check and etc? I've done most vaccinations already (from immigration process) and they were approved on the website. I will only need a TB test, hepatitis B and Influenza. Is the Influenza vaccine available now?
  4. Jen, thank you so much for gathering (or trying) this information for us. I registered for NSG101 and clinicals after one day I turned in my papers. Before that, I had an appointment with a non-nursing advisor. I had no problems or glitches for adding the course. I contacted her about the nursing advisor issue, and she said the nursing department will contact us in a few weeks.
  5. What class did you registered for?
  6. There is one paperwork that must be send by April 18. I received my package yesterday.
  7. Hello people! I am going to be a new student taking NSG101 for Fall 2013. Anyone can give me recommendation teacher for this course? I really appreciate it!!!
  8. Who is going to Cooper? I want to ask if you have any information about NSG101. Teacher recommendation? Books, etc?
  9. Hello girls! I got accepted too! Congratulation to all!!!
  10. Your avatar looks like everyone waiting for the results! hahaha
  11. I was wondering... Since I got an email of receiving my package to selective admissions on March 06. Do you think they will email us about any update?
  12. Nope, I didn't find out. I just know they got rid of rolling admissions this year. That is what I meant about the changes... I might be wrong. I hope we all know by Friday.
  13. I am not having problems loading BCTC's page. I just checked and no updates on my profile. I bet they are delayed in posting the results because they had changes in admissions, like for example: rolling admission...
  14. Mine also says no. I have no idea what rolling admissions stands for. Anyone explain please? My NLN was 145.
  15. Yes, they should! BTW, I just came from Cooper campus and they are posting the results today and during the week!
  16. Last year, they posted the results on the 3rd (Tuesday) of April. And 2011, they posted on the 1st of April. I have a bachelor's degree, I scored 145 in the NLN, but my GPA is 3.35 (from veterinary school in Brazil). I am hopping to have good chances, but I am concern about my GPA. The grading in Brazil is different from USA, sometimes a C is the best grade in class (they never grade average there). I am applying for Cooper.
  17. Tomorrow either is going to be a sad day or happy day ... Good luck to everyone!
  18. Congratulations on being accepted at EKU!!! I am waiting for my application to BCTC too. I wasn't accepted at EKU due my 72% English vocabulary (English is not my first language, and it is required 75%). They asked to try again next Spring, 2014. However, I am happy that I got 72%. I never studied English before and I am living in the USA since 2011. I am still learning... Overall, my HESI score was 83%... English vocabulary is really hard to me, I tried to memorize 800 words. I have a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Brazil, and I was surprised that my GPA from there was compared to an undergraduate here. First of all, we don't have a credit system like the USA. Plus, the grades are not relative to the class. I mean, I got a C in Veterinary Surgery and it was the best grade in class! Everyone else failed. So, sadly, my GPA is not very good either. Unfortunately, I am not sure if I will get in any program now. :/
  19. Wow... I applied for 3 different schools because of that. I know the program is really competitive, and I am not sure if I will get in. I will be happy to go to BCTC. Looks like it is close and cheaper. However, I talked with a friend yesterday and she heard they are very disorganized. She is at EKU, and she heard that Midway is the best school. Well, now we have to wait until April... I wish you good luck!
  20. Thanks so much for your reply. I am applying for the ADN program. That's why I am not applying to UK. I haven't heard about Morehead, but seems that is it too far to drive from here! My husband is in medical school at UK. I applied for these three schools and I am waiting for the results. I will check the KY board of nursing website. Thanks so much for your info.
  21. Hello! I live in Lexington, and I am wondering which one is the best school between BCTC, Midway and EKU. I am applying for these 3 schools. Please share your experience while in nursing school. Thank you for your help!
