Are my fall 2013 classes to much while working!?
This fall 2013 I'm taking A&P I first semester with lab , and biostats, psy, & history. But I'm also going to be working 8 hour shifts at my job as a care giver. I was planing to work 2 days during the week and weekends. Some ppl say I shouldn't work at all. Do you think it will be that difficult? Also I do a 4 hour internship at a hospital, 4 shifts a month. Then in spring I'm going to take chem and A&P II. After that I will be done with my prerequisites (: what do you guys think? And say or advice would be great! Thank you!

when i apply to the university whats do i put under my major?
I graduated high school in 2012, but when I applied to universities on CSU mentor, I remember my counselor, told me to put undecided for my major so I have more chances to getting in, because if I put Nursing I probably wouldn't have gotten accepted. so now that im going to me a Sophomore in college, and going to apply to nursing programs as well, when I apply for the universities on CSU mentor, would I put undecided? or nursing? because if I were to put undecided as my major then would I apply to the nursing program on their campus website?

before you were a nursing student, did you ever feel discouraged?
Have you ever felt this way, and at the end you actually got accepted somewhere? Im looking at 5 universities im going to apply for and maybe 3 community colleges, even though im currently attending a CSU. im almost done with my pre reqs. but when im getting closer to apply i feel very discouraged almost like its unrealistic to gett accepted anywhere because any school for nursing is so competitive, and hard to get into. My first semester in college i got all staright A's and comming to the end of this semester im looking at staright A's as well, im a freshman, im always ahead doing research of colleges, already been studying for my tease test etc. Academically im good standing. but i dont know why i put my self down alot. have you ever felt this way and at the end you suprised your self and got accepted somewhere?

what else can i do to be a competitive apllicant?
I attend CSUCI planning to apply to their nursing program, I know its a while till i apply, but i was wondering what else i can do to make my self stand out and be a competitive applicant, my schools runs with a point system, BesidesGPA, Tease test score, residency, and current student at CI. I am bilingual; Iam almost done with my hours of 240 at st John's Hospital with cope healthsolutions internships. What else am I able to do? You think it would be goodidea to be certified as a CNA? So I can put that on my application? Also i bought two tease book guides to prepare me as well. . Ishould be done with my prerequisites in spring. If you have any other suggestions on what i can do? so i can add more on my resume to make me be a little more competitive as an applicant. Thanky you!

Should i wait a yr off to apply or apply soon?
Hey everyone(: well im pretty much second guessing myself if im ready to apply to the nursing program or not, because during the apllications are open im still going to be in two pre req classes and they will consider those a B even if i get a A at the end of the semester , also I feel like if i take a year off and just do GE classes, and if i do get into a nursing program a year later it will be less GE's i have to deal with. What do you guys think? regrestration is every Feb. by the way. Any advice or says would help (:

How to get a nursing application together, organized, and on top of it?
This is my first post, im excited to try this, my question is, yesterday i went to a nursing information meeting and what caught my attention was when the professor said "the students who usally get accepted are the first ones who turn in the application, they have to have the application together, organized, and on top of it" What are some advice or tips of getting my application like this? certain folder?, typed? etc. any advice helps thanks!(:
