I didn't take micro at ECTC but it was my favorite so far. Good luck with it I have some news about the letters, one of my friends called yesterday to ask if they went out and so far they haven't. Spring must be twice has crazy! I wonder how many applicants they sort through every semester!

I finished all of the co-reqs last semester. What about you? Did you have any classes that you absolutely loved? This HAS to be the week! Any further and they'll push into may... But also because this anticipation has me going crazy! :) I do have to agree with your last sentiment. As much as I really want that instant gratification, the process is definitely something I wouldn't want to change. I've talked with other friends about waiting for their letters and its nice bonding over the shared anxiety haha

I'm not sure what I have left over. I think I need to have my old ECTC credits sent over to them in order to be accepted to the school. I have some time right now so after I post this I'll get the ball rolling again. Also, do either of you know which digital/computer literacy test the school will accept?

RedSox, I have my fingers crossed for the 24th but I'm a terrible pessimist! Did you end up applying to JCTC? I ended up getting pretty busy with an interstate move and I'm not sure if I can get everything in by the deadline now. Amthom, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't make it in last semester. I'll have my fingers crossed for you this time. :)

Its crazy! I wish I'd been able to attend one of the conferences in person to get a better feel for the program. The administrative assistant sent me a copy of the February conference on DVD. I really just want to know!! :) I decided a few days ago that if I don't get in I'm going to take ECTC's EMT class and hope for Spring. I was told by someone that works in the nursing office that historically the Fall iteration is harder to get into than the Spring's. We'll see... "It all depends on the applicant pool"

Yes, my wife's cousin is either in her first or second semester. From the few conversations we've had it's a nice program, fast but definitely worthwhile. I can relate to your determination!! Last semester I basically repeated my entire first semester of college to get my GPA up. I was taking 18 hours and working from 3am to 11am Mon-Fri. My family only saw me for a few minutes before bed haha. My wife's cousin also said the program was extremely selective. I think only 22-25 are admitted each semester. I hate the anticipation! (Also, I apologize for any spelling of grammar errors. I'm responding on my phone)

Good luck to you as well! I hope you get selected too, it would be very nice knowing someone going in! My wife has a cousin in the program right now and she loves it. Do you know when people usually get their letters? Since March 1st this is all I've been able to think about! :) Have you thought about or are you applying anywhere else? After looking at some of the other colleges in the area I might also apply to JCTC. I hate the idea of putting all of my eggs in one ECTC basket. Thanks again for responding and best of luck

Congratulations! You'll have to let me know what you think of telemetry. I'm not sure what I'm going to do for work once I relocate (I'm finishing up an enlistment with the military and my job doesn't translate well in the civilian sector) I'm leaning towards the ER as well. I don't think I'll really know what I want until I've been through clinicals. As for getting into BCTC's program, I checked out some of your other posts earlier today while exploring AN. I can't remember what you said you scored on the NLN but I remember thinking it was definitely a great score and GPA, I'll have my fingers crossed for you.
