  1. Like almost everyone else, I might as well stay and work in CA. But someone told me they no longer accept nclex application now? I am not really sure but a friend just told me to try it out with the other states. I have not been very responsible within the years and have not taken the necessary exams. If it is really true that CA does not accept application anymore, then I will try it out on the other states that does not require english exam and I could save a few money for license endorsement. The only important thing is I pass the nclex at once when I get to the US this month. Thank you again Miss steppybay =)
  2. Uhm. Could you name 2 or 3 please? I'm actually hopeless since no one can't seem to help me right now. I am also thinking about RN license endorsement since it could be done once I pass the exam. But this is the only option I know as soon as I get to the US. Your message gave me hope when I read it. Thank you for the reply =)
  3. I am a USC and BSN graduate from the Philippines and have not taken IELTS yet. I will be leaving for the US next month. Does anybody know any US State that don't require IELTS/TOEFL on their application for NCLEX? Thank you and more power to allnurses.com
  4. Ah, okay... Now I get it. Because some of my relatives in the US said that I don't need to take the local RN board exam that's why I did not take it. But now, I am currently self reviewing for my IELTS Academic Purposes since my friend said that it is the one I should review rather than the General Training. I have heard from few people that some who graduated here in the Philippines and went to the US, did not take the local board. And they took the NCLEX when they arrived in the US. To tell you the truth, I am hopeless. I don't know anyone who has been in my situation. I am asking advises from my uncles but it's taking them too long to give a reply. I am only hoping that if I pass the ielts here, then I apply for the NCLEX-RN exam and I will just be waiting for my schedule of exam in the US. Thank you very much for you reply.
  5. No reason so far. I just want to go straight on taking the NCLEX-RN. But if I found a state that does not require IELTS/TOEFL, then I will go for that state.
  6. Thankyou for your reply. Unfortunately, someone told me that they no longer accept nclex-rn application in California. I am a US Citizen but a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing here in the Philippines. I did not take the Local Nursing board exam because it will not be valid since I am an american citizen according to some of the people I asked. All of their stories are very different that is why I am asking our fellow experienced nurses here if anyone know's what state in the US that will not require IELTS/TOEFL/CGFNS.
  7. thankyou for you reply. the thing is, i am not really familiar with some of the state requirements on their exam for nclex-rn. i have no one in the united states who knows about taking the board exam. only just few relatives who are busy and i'm not sure if they could help me. they're are in California and I know California right now is not accepting nclex-rn applicants. i'm am deciding on Florida or Nevada but both require an IELTS test score. Also, I already have an SS number. Which is also a requirement.
  8. I am an international student from the Philippines but a US American citizen. I have not taken the local board exam or IELTS/TOEFL. Does anybody know what US State that does not require IELTS/TOEFL in order to apply for a NCLEX-RN? Thank you for anyone who will give a reply. Thanks allnurses.com ?
