So I am currently enrolled in a pre-req class (A&P) for an accelerated program that won't begin until May 2014. The program is 45k for 15 months and you graduate with your BSN. This is a lot of money, however I know you are paying for the speed and advancement to BSN. I am wondering though does this sound worth while? Is 45k too much to pay for such a program? I have a friend who keeps throwing the EAYL programs from Tampa at me. Is it better to pay big bucks and have any say over where you work in a year vs. signing a 2-3 year commitment post school for tuition assistance and having to work wherever they need you? I guess I'm just looking for some experienced RN's opinions. I'm a little torn, and the idea of 45k in loans is a little scary. Any input is GREATLY appreciated!
