  1. So after 9 long months after graduation I have finally landed myself a job! This is supposed to be exciting right?... Well I start in less than two weeks and I am having panic attacks thinking about being a nurse and starting out. I got hired on a med surg type unit that has a nurse patient ratio of 1:5 and during the interview the manager told me how busy and hard the floor was especially for the 3-11 shift that I got hired for so needless to say I am beyond nervous. I just feel like I remember absolutely NOTHING and completely forgot what it is like to be a nurse and every time I start to look at material to review I close the book because I get so overwhelmed and don't know what to focus on because I was only just offer the job last week. Are there any tips people can give me on what to look at to review and how it is to start as a nurse after being away from it! Any advice is greatly appreciated
