this was from a local community college

Hey guys, well long story short I just failed out of LPN school for the second time by 0.1. Needless to say I'm upset but I'm trying to move on with my life and to see if theres any other options out there for me. I don't know what to do. I was 4 weeks out from graduation and I feel like I have all this knowledge for nothing. Is there any other jobs that you know of that pays well and that I could look into thats within the healthcare field. I just don't want to feel stuck in a retail job or end up becoming a stripper to be able to pay my bills (that last part was a lie) but I don't want to work in retail forever. I just don't know what to do and I'm becoming so depress over the situation. Seems like I can't transfer out to another school because they won't accept my F. My GPA is gone to .... and I'm just here lost Any advice would help or some words of encouragement would be great

Don't feel bad. I just failed my first semester as well and everyone keeps telling me that I won't get into anything because I've been black listed. I'm in NYC. The best thing I could tell you is go back when you can and try again. I failed by less then half a point. I have those same feelings so not being adequate enough. I'm rooting for you not to give up but to look at all your options.

Thanks. I have some serious thinking now. I'm feeling this is really the end of my dreams if that's the case. Being that I can't afford private schools.

I could re-admit but I have to wait a full year before I could do anything.

I'm going to try. I'm going to start to look around for other programs to see where I could get into. I've been told that they don't straight up tell you that your black listed but when you present your transcript where they could see, that's when they tell you no

Is it true that if you fail out of a nursing program you're black listed from all other ? I'm a Lpn student and I just failed one of my classes by .45. Pretty much a half point. I wanted to transfer out but they told me that CUNY doesn't accept anyone who has failed out and trying to transfer somewhere else. What should I do ???

Hey thanks. I will definitely do that and also check out a few web sites for extra resources. I just have to buckle down and really study and understand all the concepts ! :)

Hey guys !!! This is my first post and I just have one question. I'm looking for a TEAS V prep exam class. I live in NYC and I'm willing to pay for them. I don't have an exact date of when I want to take the test but I just want to go in there fully confident. I'm thinking about taking the exam in a year but it's been ages since I've taken any of these subjects. If ANYONE has any information or advice please leave a comment
