  1. It's a closed group, so you should be safe. Only members can see posts in their newsfeeds.
  2. Here's the group if you want to join. The threads on there will explain a trick for logging in to the campus email to find out official acceptance news. Otherwise, you have to wait for a letter in the mail. That email is probably a good sign, though.
  3. I was told there could be movement from the wait list after the deposit deadline in April and also when financial aid packages are released, but some people back out as late as summer.
  4. I think summer quarter starts June 23. No idea about orientation. The graduate student welcome event is June 20, but that's for the entire University, not just nursing.
  5. Congrats! Did you get your acceptance via phone, or did you see a status update online?
  6. I'm CNM/FNP and also called. Still no decision. Good grief.
  7. I think they're referring to the checklist at the bottom of the page, but otherwise, mine still says submitted. It's pretty clear I'm not being accepted, since I applied for CNM/FNP and haven't received a phone call. Vandy wasn't my first choice, so I'm not stressed about it, but it would be nice to have a final answer. Fingers crossed for all of you hoping for big news from Nashville!
  8. I would contact BCN and see if they will extend the deadline for you. Most schools are willing to be flexible. As an alternative, maybe call Vandy and explain that you have a deposit deadline looming elsewhere and need to know whether they are an option. It's getting ridiculous at this point when they have obviously made decisions.
  9. Well, I already interviewed--before some of the people who've already been accepted--so I'm assuming it's a no for me. I'm planning to go elsewhere, but it still bruises the ego a bit. Good luck to everyone still waiting!
  10. So I'm guessing since I wasn't notified this week re: midwifery, I probably didn't make the cut. Womp womp woooomp.
  11. Serendiba, what is your current specialty? I'm applying for CNM and would like to know more about the clinical experiences. As I understand it, the interview time passes quickly, so I'm not sure I'll have the time I'd like to ask questions of them.
