Failure is an Option: A New Grad Story
I love this story. Shows that nurses/student nurses are not robots, we are humans, we make mistakes, we learn from them and we apologize. I certainly am glad I don't work with nurses who read between lines of things and take words out of context and they assume things.. Lets keep it happy, All Nurses!

Recurring Protonix Nightmare
I worry so much about things like this as well. the worst thing to do is go home and look things up online it will make you sick to your stomach. Now, I try to reflect on the situation and learn from it for the future.

Best NCLEX Advice
Hey there everyone! I have just recently started posting and participating on this website - and I am so thankful I became more involved AFTER I took my NCLEX. The reason being - after I took my NCLEX I felt SO confident that I passed - I mean, I did all the prep; ATI RN Predictor, Saunders, Kaplan Review Course, etc.. I had all the knowledge and confidence. Well, there was a hold on my results due to a glitch in the computer system. So then I decided to go to Allnurses and see how other people who had holds did.. Well, some passed, some failed. I then saw posts about people who took 75 questions, like me, but failed. Until my quick results were available (5 days!!), I was a nervous wreck thinking I had failed because I took other peoples opinions so close to heart!! I did pass, and I knew in my heart all along I did. The point of my post is to tell you all not to take everyone's opinions about how they studied or how their exam went to heart. You ALL have the knowledge and skills to take this test. Whether you took a Kaplan, Hurst, ATI or self studied... You have done all you can to study and prepare - I mean, you all have 2-4 years of nursing school behind you. This is just one last test - you've taken tons of tests in the past - what is one more? Don't make judgements for how your exam will be based off of this - while it may be helpful for some to read how others felt or how they did, I feel like in retrospect it makes others worry - I mean, after all, us nursing students are probably type A perfectionists anyways Best of luck to everyone taking their NCLEX. Katy, BSN, RN.

"results on hold?!"
Mine are STILL on hold, and I took it 6/6.. aghh. Hang in there - God is good Philipians 4:6-7

Took the NCLEX.. what am I allowed to disclose?
They say you aren't supposed to release questions and answer choices. I've seen many people on here list that they took "x number of SATA" etc, but I personally wouldn't post anything - my luck I would get in trouble :)

I just failed
I knew you passed! :) Good work

RESULTS ON HOLD
My Kaplan Instructor who works closely with BON told me that it's just a rumor they flag you for taking it too soon - there must have been a glitch somewhere. Don't worry :) I am still waiting for my results too.

I just failed
Breathe!! Those are all passing level questions! They look at your performance of the last 60 questions. Did you try the pearson vue trick?

RESULTS ON HOLD
Hey there Same thing happened to me on 6/6. It took me 40-45 minutes to test. I didn't use a calculator, white board or breaks. My results are STILL on hold. Driving me insane. I asked my Kaplan Instructor about that rumor; can they hold your results due to the amount of time you took the test in - and she said no. I don't know about you, but when I was in the testing center, something was wrong with their internet/website - also, when I got home, the website available to the public was down for quite some time.. My instructor said that would definitely have something to do with getting our results put on hold. I told my boyfriend about them reviewing my test, and he said, well obviously they wouldn't be reviewing it if you failed, you must have scored really high in less than an hour and they are making sure you didn't cheat.. Haha - so keep that in mind too if you are worried you failed!!! :) Hope that helps and I hope we both get the answer we want soon!!

Illinois ATT
We had our applications submitted May 17th and I received my ATT May 31st. However, there are two students that are from Illinois as well and one just received her ATT Thursday, and the other STILL hasn't received it. Illinois is the SLOWEST state ever to process ATTs but more importantly, the slowest to process licenses. Eeek.
